The management and staff at Matthew nursing home (Erina) provide assistance with daily activities, with social, health and physical needs. There are two main types of care: assisted care and high care.
At Matthew John we provide:
All services are offered by professional and dedicated staff to assist residents in enjoying living within the aged care facility.
The type of services provided will depend on the level of care required.
The federal government decides the resident fees under the Aged Care Act 1997. Please contact our friendly sales staff for information on government fees and charges.
Before moving to one of the Terrigal Grosvenor's aged care facilities the resident fees appropriate to you will be calculated and discussed with you and your family or friend of choice. We strongly recommend you contact the commonwealth department of Aged Care and ask as many questions as you need to. As a guide these are some of the things your fees contribute to:
Admission is based on a thorough assessment, and consultation with the prospective resident, their family and the community care workers. Prior to admission all applications must be assessed by an aged care assessment team (ACAT). Please ask sales staff for further ACAT information.
Once the application process has been completed the applicant's name is placed on a waiting list. While Terrigal Grosvenor Lodge's management management and staff work hard to find accommodation for people on the waiting list, accommodation is offered on a "needs basis" and therefore places cannot be guaranteed.
If you would like to inspect the facility you are considering moving to please contact us directly. We would be more than happy to provide you with a guided tour.
