Churches of Christ Care Betheden Aged Care Service Murrumbeena is located in Murrumbeena and provides respite and permanent accommodation for people requiring nursing home care. Betheden Aged Care Service is co-located with Churches of Christ Care Emmaus Lodge, Murrumbeena.
Nursing home:
Our nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and are well assisted by a team of personal carers, lifestyle and chaplaincy staff. Our team delivers expert care to our residents and work with a high sense of quality and commitment to people. Visiting specialists include doctor of choice, visiting dentists, audiologists and optometrists.
At Betheden Aged Care Service we offer a mix of single rooms with en-suite and shared rooms with shared facilities all in a beautiful garden setting. Facilities include an on site hairdressing salon, garden gazebo and courtyard and multiple activity rooms.
All meals are planned by a dietitian prepared in our commercial grade kitchen, onsite.
Personal care services:
Although our residents are encouraged to maintain independence with their everyday living tasks if extra assistance is needed our staff are available to help with showering , personal hygiene, medication, dressing, dementia and emotional support, mobility, meal assistance, special diets, rehabilitation, communication and short-term illness.
Betheden Aged Care Service offers a range of programs including music therapy and physiotherapy. Podiatry services are provided to all residents regularly. Our diversional therapist and lifestyle staff develop and deliver personally tailored programs for residents.
Pastoral care is offered through our chaplains and volunteers. Chaplaincy support and worship services are available to all residents.
