Yapunyah Aged Care Facility
Yapunyah Aged Care Facility is located in Cunnamulla, 972km west of Brisbane. The town has a distinct country atmosphere with tree-lined streets and old style hotels, which have remained unchanged for over half a century. Yapunyah offers low care to 12 residents, who enjoy living in a small aged care facility where they can access a full range of services to meet their needs with ageing in place.
Accommodation facilities
Yapunyah Aged Care Facility offers low level care to residents who are provided with their own airconditioned room and ensuite. Each room has direct access to both inside and outside areas of the service. Residents and their families or representatives are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the aged care service. Midday meals are delivered from the nearby hospital, with other meals being prepared by staff in the Yapunyah kitchen. Yapunyah residents enjoy spacious shared areas, including dining, lounge and quiet indoor or outdoor sitting areas.
