Tobruk Village
"For the not-so-retiring"
Welcome to your new home. You have arrived at Tobruk Village.
Surrounded by trees and manicured gardens, Tobruk feels like a country retreat, jump in the car and you’re only minutes away from the metropolis of Liverpool.
When you live at Tobruk Village, you will live in a friendly community where there are activities that invigorate your body, mind and spirit – and distinctive services that touch your heart.
The Village offers a lifestyle based on security and peace of mind with 24 hour onsite emergency call.
Tobruk is a community perfectly suited to your vibrant lifestyle. And one that offers the peace of mind should you need care-in-the-home. LifeCare @ Home is right there and if the time comes that you need a little extra help with the activities of daily living, it is reassuring to know that our new nursing home, John Edmondson VC Gardens, is scheduled to open in 2013.
RSL LifeCare is a charitable organisation that was formed in 1911 to provide care and service to war veterans. Services were initially provided at Bare Island, Botany Bay, until moving to Narrabeen in 1939. From small beginnings providing care and service to just a handful of war veterans, the organisation has grown to be one of the largest retirement accommodation and aged care services in Australia. Caring for 5,000 across Retirement Living, Residential Care and Community Care, we have developed an extensive range of services that fosters independence and provides social, clinical, emotional and spiritual support.
Despite our growth and the passage of time, RSL LifeCare remains true to its original aim and mission – to provide a home of peace and security to Senior Australians.
