St Catherine's Aged Care Facility
St Catherine's Aged Care Facility Bathurst is a 69-bed residential aged care community that supports 'ageing in place'. Staff provide professional care for aged members of the community with 30 high care and 39 low care beds. There is also a dedicated respite bed and a 15-bed dementia-secure area.

Set in picturesque and historic Perthville, approximately 10 km from Bathurst, St Anne's Home is a comfortable, homelike 18-bed low care residential aged community. This 'home away from home' has friendly and professional staff who provide low care support for residents. Respite care is also available.
The home's communal lounge has a beautiful wood fire which warms the dining room in winter and creates a wonderful atmosphere. Residents can enjoy the parklike gardens that surround the buildings in this peaceful area, where the four seasons are displayed beautifully every year.

History
In late 1998, following the provision of consultancy services to the Sisters of St Joseph, Perthville, Catholic Healthcare entered into a management contract with the sisters to administer St Anne's. The Sisters of St Joseph, Perthville, will entrust St Anne's to Catholic Healthcare from October 2006.

St Catherine's was opened in October 1966 by the Sisters of Mercy as a 24-bed nursing home for retired sisters and increased its capacity to 30 beds. In 1999, a 24-bed hostel was opened, followed by a 15-bed dementia unit in 2002 with provision for one high care respite bed.
